# Legal

[TermsOfUse](/api-reference/legal/terms-of-use.md) define the agreements presented to users. Authenticated users record their acceptance of a specific version through [TermsOfUseAcceptedUsers](/api-reference/legal/terms-of-use-accepted-users.md).

[PrivacyPolicies](/api-reference/legal/privacy-policies.md) and [Imprints](/api-reference/legal/imprints.md) provide the legal notices shown by intratool. Their management endpoints, together with the `TermsOfUse` management endpoints, use administration scope and require the [`settings-show` permission](/api-reference/permissions.md#available-permissions).
