# Calendar

[Calendars](/api-reference/calendar/calendars.md) categorize [CalendarEvents](/api-reference/calendar/calendar-events.md) and provide their display colors.

[CalendarEvents](/api-reference/calendar/calendar-events.md) can be recurring, shared with Departments, resolved through URL Context, and notify eligible users. [DeletedRepeatingCalendarEvents](/api-reference/calendar/deleted-repeating-calendar-events.md) exclude individual dates from a recurring event without deleting the complete series.
